03 Fixed appliances

An expansion of the mid palatal suture is possible in the primary or transitional dentition by cement-retained palatal expansions. It also enables a combination with a Delaire-Mask. Soldered transpalatinal as well as lingual arches act as an anchorage support during the treatment with multi-bracket-appliances. A fixed Pendel appliance allows the distalisation of the posterior teeth in the permanent dentition.
